John OsborneJohn spent 20 years developing complex data-acquisition technologies in numerous industries before founding MediCollector. His code can be found in medical devices, hospitals, manufacturing plants, cruise ships, and oil drilling platforms around the globe.

History
MediCollector was launched out of the research community of the Wyss Institute at Harvard Medical School. In order to advance research in infant apnea, the Wyss Institute developed a software-based system for collecting and synchronizing video and multi-modal data from patient monitoring equipment in hospitals. That system was deployed to NICUs around the United States and used for various clinical studies and publications. The underlying code was so successful and useful, it was licensed to MediCollector and provided the initial building blocks for our products.
MediCollector was launched in 2017 and our software is now used around the globe to advance research and medical device integration.
