|
A server-based system for capturing vital signs data from multiple medical devices across a network.
|
Product Summary
The CENTRAL version of MediCollector is an off-the-shelf server-based product which can be installed on any Windows computer. The software allows you to acquire, record and stream data from one or more medical devices.
Supported Devices
For a complete list of supported medical devices, please see our list of Supported Devices.
Cabling Requirements
MediCollector CENTRAL is installed on a central server and connects to medical devices across your network. In order to connect a medical device to your network, it will require device-specific cabling. We make these connections easy by providing a "network cable pack" that is specific to your device. You will need to purchase one cable pack for each medical device. Each cable pack comes with instructions and all the cables you need to connect it to the network. Your specific cable pack can be found on our list of Supported Devices. Make sure to read the REQUIREMENTS section of the cable pack before purchasing. Contact us for assistance.
Data Recording
Data can be recorded to a central location and then exported to universal formats such as CSV, TXT and EDF. A viewer application is provided to visualize historical data.
Real-time Streaming
Live data can also be streamed out to external systems using TCP, HL7 2.6 or HL7 FHIR. For more information, please see our blog post on streaming to external applications or read or TCP & HL7 interface documentation.
Technical Support
Every subscription includes technical support.
Free Evaluation Version
When you first install MediCollector CENTRAL, it will run in free evaluation mode. During this time, you can connect as many medical devices as you wish, but each connection will only last 2 minutes. This time restriction is removed when you purchase a subscription (see below). To test the free evaluation version with an actual medical device, you will need to purchase cables from us (see above) to connect it to the network. We sell our cables at low-cost in order to make it easy for you test the software. If you would like to test without connecting an actual device, you can test with our built-in "virtual device". Please contact us if you need assistance.
Licensing
When you are ready to purchase a subscription, please contact us for a quote. Upon purchase, a license ID and password will be emailed to you to instantly activate your subscription and unlock restrictions.
A subscription is valid for a particular device type. So if you have a Philips Intellivue patient monitor, you will purchase a subscription for "Philips Intellivue Series". But if you also want to connect a GE patient monitor, then you will need a separate subscription. In addition, each connection requires its own subscription. So if you have 5 patient monitors, then you will need 5 subscriptions. Please contact us for a quote.
Software Updates
Your subscription entitles you to software updates. Just download the new version and your subscription will remain active.
