Licensing
When you install MediCollector CLI on your computer, you will be able to run the demo version of the product. When in demo mode, the command line interface will only retrieve one randomly selected numeric value from your medical device. To remove this restriction, you need to purchase a license. Upon purchasing a license, a USB dongle will be shipped to you. This dongle plugs into the USB port on your PC and will instantly unlock the the demo restriction such that it will retrieve ALL the values. The dongle is portable. It can be removed and used in any PC. No drivers are needed in order to use the dongle. Simply insert the dongle and MediCollector will recognize it.
Automation
Each time you run the command line, it takes a few seconds to retrieve the latest values. If this slight delay is problematic, you can be automate the command line using Windows Task Scheduler to run once per minute (or at whatever frequency you wish) to store the latest data to a text file. By doing so, you will always have access to latest data in a text file.
